Who we are

A local team focused on one thing

Asbestos Removal Experts handles asbestos testing and removal for homeowners, contractors, and property managers across Ottawa. We explain what we find in plain language, contain the work area properly, and keep you informed from the first assessment to the final disposal record.

Why this matters

Ontario Regulation 278/05 explained simply

If your building may have been built before 1990, Ontario Regulation 278/05 generally requires a designated substance assessment before renovation, demolition, repair, or maintenance work begins. Work is classified Type 1, 2, or 3 depending on the material and its condition, and each type has its own required controls. We help you meet that requirement instead of guessing at it.

Yes. Alongside Ottawa neighbourhoods like Kanata, Orleans, and Barrhaven, we also serve nearby communities including Rockland, Carleton Place, Almonte, Arnprior, and Kemptville. See our Areas page for the full list.

Is the on-site assessment really free?

Yes, the initial on-site assessment and written quote are free with no obligation. You only pay if you decide to move ahead with testing or removal.

How do I know if I need testing or just removal?

If the material has not been confirmed as asbestos-containing, we recommend testing first. If it has already been confirmed by a prior inspection, we can move straight to a removal quote.

What happens to the material after it is removed?

Asbestos-containing material is contained, transported, and disposed of at an approved facility, following the controls set out in Ontario Regulation 278/05.

Can you work around my renovation or business schedule?

In most cases, yes. Tell us your timeline when you request a quote and we will let you know what is realistic for your project.
